A.C.S. Hameed is one of the most prominent personalities in the history of Sri Lankan Muslims. This study aims to identify his educational services. Based on the previous literature, this study analyses the secondary data related to the topic. The major finding of the study reveals that strong charisma on interests of the students during his tenure as a teacher, the implementation of scholarship schemes for students, the contribution to the establishment of zonal education offices, the supervision of educational activities, the establishment of various schools, the appointment of teachers in the Foreign Ministry, the issue of appointment letters to teachers, the establishment of Training College for teachers, the provision of various career opportunities related to education, writing of books and the promotion of the Islamic Teachers Union are his highlightable services regarding the education. Strong academic background and foreign ministry post were the main triggers for his services related to education. As a citizen of Sri Lanka, his educational services were not centered on a particular community, race, or religion but included people of different backgrounds. This study could be referred to for historical studies on the contributions of Sri Lankan Muslims and educational development in Sri Lanka.
