Abstract

Murugan is known as the Tamil God, the evidence of Muruga worship is a cult that originated in the Tamil community almost from the Tolkappiya period, Murugan is considered as the god belonging to the Kurinji land which is said to be Maivara world among the five types of lands claimed by the Tolkappiyas.
