Worships arose because the human race looked closely at the workings of nature, unable to understand its fury, and acted with a sense of awe and gratitude for what it had helped. The primary deities are worshiped as well as the subsidiary deities minor deities are also worshiped as family deities for many Families. People perform various rituals to deities to alleviate their sufferings and to do good. Sacrifices, prayers, processions, offerings and festivals are performed.  It clearly shows the mood of the people. There fear, love, gratitude, resistance, contentment, joy and many other thoughts and emotional states are ritually expressed.
